‘The Barracks’ Skatepark – CHOCC , London, ON

Working with Stantec Consulting and Jim Barnum (skatepark designer) to produce full structural design drawings for a large addition to the central skatepark in London Ontario; ‘The Barracks’. Officially called ‘CHOCC’ (Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre), this is the most well known skatepark in London and boasts a pool and waterfall feature for the more advanced skaters. Consideration for year-round exposure to the elements and the use of shotcrete for the pool made this an interesting (and cool) structural project.
